My name is Karen West. I am the owner and a stylist here at Bladez hair salon and spa. I have been a hair stylist for 25 years. I started in Matthews NC at a salon named Head Stop. I spent three years there growing and learning under a great group of girls before transfering here to Bladez. After 15 years here I had the opportunity to take over the business. I purchased the building we are in and made a permanent home for the salon. Seven years later we have grown into a full service salon and spa. I have been so fortunate to build an overwhelming clientele that have supported me beyond words.
I married Joe West on February 2008 and I have wonderful two step-sons. We have two dogs, Cruz & Tallie, which are my children. I grew up here in Pageland graduating in 1988 from Central High School. I then attended Monroe Beauty College where I graduated in April of 89. Since begining my work as a cosmetologist I have attended Hair Shows and or hair classes in Charlotte, NC, Winston Salem NC, Myrtle Beach SC, Orlando Fl, Georgia, Florence SC, Columbia SC, Camden SC and Ashville NC. I continually find classes so that I may bring the latest styles and fashion to my clients.
I offer fashion hair coor, highlights, lowlights, men-women-children cuts, styles, perms, reconstructing treatments, facial waxing, brow tinting, special occasion hair, makeup, wedding parties and facials. I work Tuesday-Thursday 9-7. I take walk-ins when I can.

I am Elizabeth Hendrix Catoe of Pageland. I began my career in Cosmetology in 2006 as a student at Cura Cosmetology School (currently known as Kenneth Shuler School of Cosmetology) in Florence, SC. While in school I participated in the South Carolina Association of Cosmetology Schools Competition in Columbia, SC. I competed against students from many other cosmetology schools throughout the state and placed 1st in Male Hair Shaping. After completing the cosmetology program in June of 2007 and passing the state board examination, I received my South Carolina Board of Cosmetology license.
I went to work for Great Clips/Longitude, Inc. in September 2007. After attending The Great Clips for Hair Academy and completing my certification I began working at the Regent Town Center location in Fort Mill, SC. Once obtaining my North Carolina Board of Cosmetology license, I transferred to the Roosevelt Commons location in Monroe, NC where I remained until August 2010.
I have been at Bladez hair Salon since November 2010. I love being in a full-service salon. I love how much more personal it is and I absolutely love my clients. I offer the latest in cuts, three-demensional color, and texturizing services for men, women and children. I also offer manicures, pedicures, facial & full-body waxing, special occasion hair and make-up, and facials. I am available for appointments and walk-ins Fridays and Saturdays and I am also available during the week by appointments only.
I married my high-school sweetheart, Daniel in February 2009 and we have a son, Eli, born in August 2010.

My name is Casey Watts. I am the mother of a 3 year old son that is spoiled rotten. I have been doing hair now since 2003. I graduated from New Covenant Christian School in 2002. I then went on to cosmetology school in Camden SC at Legrand Institute of Cosmetology in 2003. I absolutely love doing hair and I specialize in fashion hair color.
I have worked everywhere form Pageland SC , to Chesterfield SC, to Columbia SC, to Texas, to Monroe NC and back to Pageland. I have found my home here at Bladez Hair Salon & Spa and look forward to many years with my Bladez family doing what I love to do most.

I am originally from Pageland, SC. I have two sweet boys, Jordan (5 years) and Jacob (3 months) and I live in Pageland, SC currently. I graduated from Central High School, then went on to Clemson University and graduated in 2003. In 2010, I attended school for Neuromuscular Therapy at Southeastern Institute, and I graduated in January 2011 with honors, and on the Dean's list. I love my career and love helping people. I feel blessed to do what I love each day. I offer Swedish massage, Aromatherapy, Hot Stones, Neuromuscular therapy, and will be introducing Bamboo massage in March.

My name is Melissa Hamilton. I am a 16 year licenses Nail Technician. I attended Academy Nails in Charlotte, NC and graduated in 1998. I am an experienced nail tech who loves the industry and keeps her excitement going with continuing education. I specialize in sculpted acrylic enhancements and I do natural manicures and peduciures as well. My services also include gel polish.
